Boston Marathon

My sister laughing at me because I ran to catch up to her to take more pictures

We all set goals in life and try to push ourselves to conquer our fears. We set forth challenges and then by accomplishing them, we better ourselves and rise to the occasion. Such is the case with my sister Jenny who was injured last year during the bombing to run the marathon. Along with friends and family to support her, Jenny and Matty crossed the finish line after 6 and a half hours! The energy of the crowd was amazing so much Boston Strong pride. We also all dressed for the occasion with shirts I had made by an old student that read J-Force and had an apple running with glasses.
The Boston Public Library had a powerful exhibition to commemorate the events that passed last year. I loved spending time with my family, and I even got to meet Kevin Spacey when I was there! All in all I enjoyed my yearly Boston trip, and this time was even more special.
